Diploma in Trauma & Orthopaedic Technician
The Diploma in Trauma & Orthopaedic Technician program prepares students to assist in the management of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders.
Students gain hands-on experience in fracture management, casting, splinting, and assisting in orthopaedic procedures.
Graduates are equipped to work in hospitals, emergency units, and orthopaedic clinics, supporting doctors in trauma care.

Applicants must possess a minimum of CREDIT (C6 in WASSCE or D in SSSCE) in:
A. The THREE Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science)
B. Three Elective Subjects from the following areas:
- SCIENCE: Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry
- AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE: General Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry
- HOME ECONOMICS: Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Economics, Food and Nutrition, Management in Living
- GENERAL ARTS: Literature in English, French, Ghanaian Languages, CRS/IRS, Economics, Geography, History, Government, Mathematics, General Knowledge in Arts
NB: The THREE Core Subjects and THREE Elective Subjects must give an Aggregate of 24 or better (SSSCE) or 36 or better (WASSCE). Grades D7, E8 & F9 are NOT ACCEPTABLE for admission.
In addition, candidates must submit a completed Ministry of Health Application Form and go through a selection process comprising a written examination and oral interview.
