St. John of God College of Health marked a significant milestone on 19th March 2026 with the official opening of its newly constructed two-story Administration Block. The ceremony was graced by Most Rev. Peter Kwaku Atuahene, the Bishop of Goaso Catholic Diocese and the Diocesan Health Service Director and the Acting Principal of the college, Mr Michael Ayinbire Ayamga, making the occasion both memorable and historic for the entire college community. The new facility stands as a symbol of growth, progress, and the institution’s commitment to providing a conducive administrative environment.
The journey toward completing this important project began in 2016 under the leadership of Mr. Fredrick Inkum, whose vision laid the foundation for the development of the building. Over the years, the project saw continued dedication and effort, with Madam Dorcas Addo, the former Acting Principal, playing a key role in sustaining and advancing the construction process.
After nearly a decade of commitment and perseverance, the project was successfully completed in 2026 under the leadership of the current Acting Principal, Mr. Michael Ayinbire Ayamga. His determination ensured that the long-awaited administration block was brought to completion, providing modern office spaces and improved facilities for staff and students.
The opening of the new administration block not only reflects the collective efforts of past and present leaders but also represents a new chapter in the history of St. John of God College of Health. The building is expected to enhance administrative efficiency and support the continued growth and excellence of the institution.
