The SRC Week Celebration, 2026, was a vibrant and engaging series of events designed to foster community, showcase talent, and celebrate the spirit of St. John of God College of Health. The week-long celebration began on Thursday, 19th March, with the “Rep Your Jersey & Street Quiz” in the morning and a lively “Bonfire with Jama & Jamz” in the evening, setting the tone for an exciting week ahead.

Throughout the week, students participated in a variety of activities that highlighted both their creativity and teamwork. Inter-college sporting activities on Friday, 20th March, brought students together in friendly competition, while Saturday’s “All White Praise” provided a reflective and uplifting spiritual experience. The official SRC Week launching and educational sessions on Sunday, 22nd March, ensured that students were informed and inspired about the week’s objectives and the roles of the SRC in campus life.

Culinary skills and healthy competition were on display during the inter-class cooking competition on Tuesday, 24th March, while cultural expressions were celebrated through the Cultural Expo on Wednesday, 25th March. Students enjoyed fun and relaxation as well, with movie nights, “Old School Jamz,” and a gift night enriching the campus experience. Thursday, 26th March, saw a memorable excursion, giving students an opportunity to bond outside the campus environment.

The celebrations concluded with the prestigious Awards & Dinner Night on Friday, 27th March, recognizing outstanding achievements and contributions across the student body. The following day, the Grand Durbar on Saturday, 28th March, highlighted traditional values and leadership, while the Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, 29th March, offered a reflective closing, allowing the college community to give thanks for a successful and meaningful week.

SRC Week 2026 was more than just a series of events—it was an immersive experience that strengthened unity, encouraged creativity, and celebrated the diverse talents of our students. The week reinforced the importance of teamwork, leadership, and community engagement, leaving lasting memories for all participants.
